How to configure CPUCores for Rocket League
1. Open CPUCores, under the 'Steam' tab you should be able to view Rocketleague if you have it in your Steam library.
2. Choose the right configuration! You should try the default configuration first.
1. Disable hyper-threading – This disables hyper-threading for Intel-based CPUs. This option is disabled for AMD CPUs. You will want this disabled by default.
2. Game on dedicated cores only – This enables the game to run on it’s own, dedicated cores. This is very game-dependent so you’ll want this disabled by default.
3. Run game with higher priority – This causes the game to run at a higher-than-normal process priority. You’ll want to enable this by default on most systems.
4. Isolate and constrain the operating system – This allows CPUCores to control and constrain your OS and non-game applications. You will want this enabled by default.

What using CPUCores for Rocket League will do:
When you will launch Rocket League using CPUCores, multiple processes will happen:
- CPUCores will isolate and dedicate processing cores to be exclusively used by your game, increasing your FPS and performance a lot by separating your game data and processes from your OS processes.
- Your ENTIRE OS will be isolated to your first core. Also, CPUCores will examine and constrain key Windows services that are not essential and known to hog CPU resources.
- CPUCores examines what non-OS and non-game operations your PC is running. It will do things such as constrain non-game programs to your first processing core.
This will cause your Rocket League game to have the maximum amount of CPU available, thus giving it the highest potential for maximum FPS as well as improving frame drops / frame lag / FPS stuttering
